Sr. Software Developer

We have an excellent contract opportunity for a Senior Software Developer Consultant (Senior GIS Support Analyst) in New York City. This opportunity is a contract that will start on 01/20/2025, and the estimated completion date is 12/31/2025. This position is located in Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid), and the candidates that will be considered must live in the New York Metro Area (No Exception). 
Some responsibilities are:

• Provide development and technical support (1st, 2nd, or Tier 3 Level) to the Client ArcGIS and ArcFM based Enterprise GIS system and applications 
• Take up development for minor enhancement using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, ASP.Net (C#)
• Support Client Landbase applications, including new development and troubleshooting requests
• Deploy ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administer ArcGIS server sites
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the systems
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges
• Coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc
• FME Experience: Work closely with FME Suite for GIS Landbase activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)

• 5-10 years of experience in administration, support, and development ArcGIS applications
• 5-10 years of experience in administrating and supporting ArcFM applications
• Development and coding experiences using Python, Angular JS, ArcGIS Javascript API, .Net (C#)
• Experiences in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server) and administering ArcGIS server sites
• System monitoring and performance tuning of the system
• Publish services and administer user roles and privileges
• Ability to coordinate with other teams like server support, security, DBA etc
• Provide the status of the tickets to the client SME
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution to issues reported by end users of the enterprise applications
• Experience working with the following:
  ○ Administration and testing of Enterprise GIS and Database Projects
  ○ Application Administration and Application Support Analysis
  ○ ArcFM, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Developer, ArcGIS > ArcMap, ArcGIS Server Administrator, ArcGIS Server Portal, ESRI ArcMap, Maintenance of GIS software ArcGIS and ArcSDE 

Additional skills required:

• Nice to have: Utility Experience (Plus): Leverage utility industry experience to enhance GIS solutions and contribute to industry-specific initiatives
• Windows servers' knowledge and experience

Nice to have:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tier Support
• 2nd Level Customer Support
• Able to work independently and have good communication skills, customer support
