Staff Accountant, EV Charging Systems

Rhombus Energy Solutions (A BorgWarner Company) a leader in the exciting market of electric vehicle charging systems as well as advanced applications for power conversion systems such as inverters and microgrids is looking hire a Staff Accountant.

We take EV charging to the next level. Rhombus has developed and UL certified multiple bi-directional EV charging solutions that turn heavy duty EV's into energy storage assets for our customers and the utilities that serve them. In addition, our bi-directional charging stations, plus compatible EV's, can offer a resilient source of local "microgrid" power if the larger grid experiences interruptions. We are the industry leader in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technologies and proud to manufacture and certify all or our products in the USA.

The key responsibilities of this job are:

• Process vendor invoices
• Investigate/resolve discrepancies/interact with customers
• Initiate vendor payments via ACH and Checks
• Post payments in NetSuite against vendor accounts
• Process employee expense reports
• Maintain vendor files
• Process customer invoices
• Maintain customer tracking spreadsheets
• Apply customer payments
• Process transactions in NetSuites
• Prepare reports for Purchasing/management KPI's
• Ensure all charges are supported with receipts
• Ensure all expenses have proper GL account coding
• Assist colleagues with Fyle
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Assist with month end closing
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting
• 5-7 years of related accounting experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Apps
• Experience with NetSuites and QuickBooks a plus
