Magnite's video ad server is utilized by some of the biggest CTV publishers, TV manufacturers and platforms around the world. We run a globally distributed ad serving system that handles 100's of billions of requests a day. Our ad server executes a real time auction that brings in all of the possible advertising demand, in order to achieve the greatest possible revenue per second in an ad break. This role will focus on Magnite's Audience offering which provides revenue driving value to buyers and publishers in maximizing consumer impact.
In this role you will:
- Be a senior engineer building innovative technology to solve a range of technical and product challenges
- Develop storefront technologies to enable access and management of audience data
- Build technologies that allow data to be used at scale across real time systems
- Participate in the design and development of URL/content classification systems
- Onboarding and activating PII data securely
- Proactively identify improvements to Magnite's Audience data pipeline including story boarding solutions with team.
- Be expected to be a subject matter expert on data pipeline solutions and design
- Be highly analytical and expected to seek out variances and anomalies in the data being processed. Overall, the individual in this role needs to well-versed in producing insightful analysis that can educate our business stakeholders and inform design decisions
- Inspire teammates through engineering excellence and mentoring while being able to communicate problems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to keep the team and stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
We're looking for someone with:
- An individual with 5+ years coding in Go with expert level competency in the Go language
- Previous experience in building pipelines that handle billions of events in a combination of streaming and batch modes
- Data pipeline architecture and design experience through from sourcing event data to making this available to operational systems at a usable level through aggregation and/or modelling
- API design experience to a level where another team member can build based on a design you have defined
- Proven experience working on high concurrency, clustered, distributed systems
- Proven experience working with probabilistic structures and distributed database concepts
- SQL experience through traditional systems or Spark SQL to perform data analysis

In New York, the base salary range for this position is: $160,000 - $180,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
