The Role:

Proofpoint is looking for a Staff Product Manager to join the Cloud App Security Broker team and lead the Cloud Data Loss Prevention product. We are looking for someone who takes a hands-on approach to shipping enterprise products(s) and can work independently on day-to-day activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of developers toward a common goal: Protect customers' sensitive data on SaaS applications.

You will experience the scale of Proofpoint by working with Fortune 100 customers and some of the world’s best-known brands. To be successful in this role at Proofpoint, you must possess strong technical skills while being passionate about cloud data protection and the ability to clearly articulate the product value and vision.

You must be comfortable with frequent interactions with Sales and prospective customers as well as diving deep into technical aspects with engineering.

Your day-to-day:

• Define, Design, and manage feature requirements that align with customer needs and deliver measurable value.

• Write technical requirements to support cloud DLP capabilities across key SaaS cloud applications.

• Collaborate closely with engineering to develop API-based integrations for SaaS applications.

• Work directly with Proofpoint customers and key stakeholders to identify and validate product requirements.

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and technical writers to deliver a best-in-class cloud data loss prevention product.

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Proofpoint’s Cloud Data Loss Prevention product aligning with company objectives and market evolution.

• Serve as the Cloud DLP and API connectors subject matter expert collaborating with customer success, sales, marketing, and cloud partners to support ongoing initiatives and product releases. What you bring to the team

• 5+ years in Product Management, with demonstrated experience in launching and managing SaaS products or services.

• Background in software development or experience working with API integrations is a big advantage.

• Proven experience in driving product integrations or managing projects that span multiple product groups.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas. You lead, influence, and collaborate well with your peers.

• Passion for cloud security, cloud threat landscape, or data loss prevention.

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
