Job Description

Nokia of America Corporation, Staff Test Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA.

SALARY RANGE: $ 226,325 - $ 246,334 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

Responsibilities

Nokia of America Corporation, Staff Test Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Execute quality assurance tests to ensure the functionality and interoperability of features in the Nokia Nuage Network's platform. Design, develop, script, and execute tests to verify conformance of software feature functionality. Work with Product Management and Development teams to review requirements and design functional test plans towards improving feature functionality. Execute automated regression test activities and provide status reports on the quality of project deliverables. Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Support customer escalations through reproducing issues, analyzing test results, and recommending corrective actions. Research cutting-edge cloud technologies, and complex cloud deployments. Develop new test scenarios to incorporate feedback from customer deployments. Automate test cases to ensure continuous integration of various features in future releases of the product. #LI-DNI

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, and 9 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience.

Of the related work experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following skills: TCP/IP networking and L2-L7 protocols; Security protocols: IKE, Group key IPsec and TLS; Public Key Infrastructure, Public Key algorithms, Hash algorithms, Cipher algorithms.

Of the related work experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following skills: Virtualized Networking Services Products including OpenVswitch; Automation of test plans with traffic generators: lperf, Nping, Scappy, and lxia; QA testing tools: Jira and Jenkins.

Of the related work experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following skill: DPDK data forwarding.
