With your expertise in financial modeling, cash management and capital markets you will serve as a pivotal thought partner, not just within the strategic finance team but across the entire organization, supporting a range of significant strategic initiatives. The finance team at Achieve is instrumental in sculpting the company's long-term business strategies and execution plans. Through a commitment to financial visibility, accountability, and the cultivation of strong cross-company relationships, the team ensures the company's growth strategies are both ambitious and grounded in solid data analysis.
At Achieve, the finance team parachutes into key strategic business priorities and partners side-by-side with cross-functional teams to provide deep financial analysis and modeling, thought leadership and guidance, and turning discussions & white board sessions into quantitative analysis - all through the lens of finance and strategy. In this position, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to plan and execute against strategic initiatives. You will contribute to deal analytics, support corporate finance activities, drive daily treasury operations, and strategic projects across the enterprise. This role will deliver important insights and actionable recommendations to senior finance and executive management. A successful candidate will ensure financial, operating, and cash management decisions are based on accurate data and apply expertise to inform the overall strategy. What You'll Do:

• Financial Modeling Initiatives: Help develop and enhance complex financial models to support strategic decision-making across the enterprise as well as on company metrics and liquidity. Focus on pricing & sales optimization, credit & risk management, and new product & growth initiatives to drive profitability and efficiency. Leverage a robust understanding of financial statements to help build and maintain financial models and forecasts, as Achieve develops funding and growth strategies.
• Strategic Finance Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive dynamic, revenue-generating projects. Utilize financial modeling to analyze opportunities and present actionable insights to senior finance and executive management.
• Market Trends Analysis: Keep Achieve at the forefront of personal finance by continuously monitoring market trends. Use your insights to align our product and platform within the competitive landscape through rigorous financial analysis.
• Decision Support: Support strategic decision-making by designing, maintaining, and enhancing advanced financial models in Excel. Craft comprehensive investment memos, deal committee materials, and other documentation to support informed decisions on corporate strategy.
• Cash Management: Help manage the company's daily cash position. Initiate wires related to funding and cash management activity. Track activity and support proper accounting for these transactions. Build, update and maintain cash forecasting models and reporting. Work closely with Legal, Capital Markets, and Accounting team on intercompany loans, profit sharing, tax treatments, and other complicated transactions. Administer electronic banking portals and implement appropriate protocols designed by the team. Handle bank account documentation. Lead daily allocation of loans to investors. Manage day-to-day relationships with banking partners and lenders. Support month-end close activities. Organize execution of financial documents and maintain records.
• Financial Analysis: Help distribute a financial dashboard including cash balances, borrowing capacity, and month-to-date performance against forecasts. Bring past experience with cash controls to implement a more sophisticated control process at Achieve. Administer electronic banking portals and design appropriate protocols. Support external audit requests and assist in internal testing. Help build the scalable financial capabilities needed to support Achieve's rapid growth. Help with administration of credit facilities including covenant compliance reporting, drawdowns, and payments. Support sensitivity analysis around covenants and triggers in all credit facilities using a strong data analytics skill set.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:

• Expertise in Financial Modeling: Demonstrated proficiency in developing advanced Excel-based financial models.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to deliver insightful financial analysis and present findings to the executive team. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
• Project Management: Solid background in managing strategic finance initiatives from conception to execution. Proven track record of managing projects efficiently and meeting deadlines.
• Adaptability: Quick to adapt to changing business needs and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Ability to navigate cross-functional collaboration to drive project success.
• Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a knack for bridging departmental gaps and fostering understanding and cooperation across teams.
• Capital Markets Knowledge: While not the primary focus, familiarity with capital markets and traditional investment banking is beneficial.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics required. An MBA is a plus, along with a resilient drive, initiative, and a strong commitment to achieving results.
