Supply Chain Analytics Director

Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsible for data validation, analytics and processes for the global supply chain. Includes Forecasting, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, Shipping and S OP tool development and data validation efforts. In coordination with global teams will develop KPI's, tools and methods to drive performance, accuracy and improvements across the supply chain.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Develops system use policies and global training guides for Supply Chain departments, including Forecasting, Purchasing, Planning, Warehousing, Shipping and S OP.
2. Develops strategic plans regarding system and tool development for Supply Chain functions and works with MIS/IT groups on development and implementation.
3. Works with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and other departments as needed to diagnose Global Supply Chain system/process issues.
4. Establishes KPI's for Supply Chain departments supporting training provided.
5. Oversees reporting on Merit Stocking Policy and works with senior management to ensure alignment with Corporate Goals.
6. Supports M A activities for Supply Chain transition to Merit Systems and Policies.
7. Performs other duties, as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
• A minimum of six years of inventory and production control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A thorough knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning, Manufacturing Resource Planning, and Just-In-Time, and the ability to apply these concepts in a manufacturing environment.
• A broad knowledge of the principles of management and supervision and the ability to direct the work of others to accomplish goals effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team setting.
