Systems Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operation and maintenance of a   range of scientific instruments and tools with a focus on laboratory automation systems and cross-integration systems
• Develops and recommend new processes and technologies to achieve cost-effectiveness and improved product quality
• Specifies fluidic components, identifies material compatibility & develops P&ID diagrams
• Collaborates with operations in resolving issues with regard to equipment and systems
• Lead documentation, knowledge transfer, and training activities
• Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements 

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. MS preferred
• A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; 
• Experience in designing and writing scripts using control software or dynamic scheduling software native to laboratory automation systems and cross-integration systems
• Experience with sample tracking software and developed interfaces between robotic instrumentation and LIM systems
• Highly motivated and the ability to work independently
• Hands skills in assembling and maintaining hardware
• Capable of effectively supervising technicians
