We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team. This position is in Norfolk, VA and is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:

The Systems Engineer (SE) shall have expert knowledge of all elements of the System Development Life Cycle, including System Definition, Development, Design, Analysis & Control, Integration, and Testing. The SE shall be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, including:

• Requirements Analysis

• Functional Analysis & Allocation

• Design Synthesis

• Developmental Testing

• Operational Testing

This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree, M.S. Degree or equivalent work experience.

• Experience with build automation and scripted configuration of MS Windows-based environments.

• Conducting & Leading Technical Reviews

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Hyper V

• Microsoft Windows 10 LTSC • Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite

• Microsoft Exchange and Server (2016)

• Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server 2008 R2 (preferred)

• Defense Acquisition University Level III Systems Engineering Certified (Preferred)

• MCP or MCSE with Hyper V Certification or experience

• DOD Directive 8140.03 Foundational Qualification for Advanced Systems Developer (632) or current equivalent in the case where the current DOD instruction becomes superseded by a new instruction.

• The SE shall be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills and have the ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and senior level IT leaders. The SE shall have strong interpersonal and leadership communication skills to carry out this assignment with the ability to lead and work as part of a team.

The incumbent of this position will be subject to a background investigation and will be required to maintain a Government granted security clearance.
