Position Purpose
Functions as the technical resource for a line of business or subsidiary. Develops programs and maintains area operating systems and databases. Responsible for technical equipment purchase and installation of both hardware and software. Analyzes system functionality and makes recommendations for improvements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for development and design of systems and software applications to support the business area. Performs planning and coding of modules to update systems. Designs and develops the schema tailored to the business area's system. Installs, configures, and customizes packaged software for use in the company. Participates with designated staff for any proposed system changes or applications.

  • Analyzes issues with software and handles other IS projects such as database issues. Works directly with management and internal customers to customize software and databases to increase efficiency. Plans and organizes any changes made to area systems per management.

  • Maintains computer equipment including the user computer systems, printers, file print server, database server, scanners, email system, etc. Responsible for purchasing new equipment, configuring the new equipment based on the user's job responsibilities, and installing any software required for that system (anti-virus, in-house developed software, office suite, email, etc.).

  • Perform data backups for the line of business systems, and serves as a help desk resource for its employees. Responsible for keeping data secure and ensuring users have the proper tools to perform their tasks efficiently along with and via direction of management.

To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:


Required Education:

  • Associate's in a job-related field OR

  • 2 years job related work experience


Required Work Experience:

  • 5 Years Software development and/or programming applications experience.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong math and analytical skills.

  • Excellent project management, interpretation, communication, and technical skills.


Required Software and Other Tools:

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office.

  • Proficient with programming languages required for utilization and customization of the business area's software.

We Prefer You to Have:

  • .NET Microsoft Framework

  • C# or Visual Basic .NET (VB.NET)

  • SQL Server 2016 and above with Reporting Services(SSRS) and Integration Services(SSIS)

  • GitHub

  • IIS

  • MS Office

  • UX/UI design experience, such as FIGMA

  • 7 years software development and/or programming applications experience
