As a member of the overall HR team, the Talent Development Specialist, will work as part of a team that is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness through ongoing training and career development. This role plays a key part of improving organizational performance as well as aligning company/department goals. This cross-functional role will involve partnering with stakeholders across the business and within the HR team to ensure we are delivering and optimizing quality talent development programs
What you’ll be doing:
- Demonstrating the ability to be hands-on, collaborative, forward-thinking and displaying expert communication skills are key to the success in this role.
- Deliver innovative, high-quality learning experiences that are impactful and valued by employees across various departments and geographies that are aligned with the organization’s Core Values and Leader Behaviors
- Collaborate with SMEs across the business to assist them in the development of high-quality training programs, including facilitator-led workshops and eLearning content
- Ensure inclusive environment is created for all global employees while executing on talent programs
- Facilitate a wide-variety of workshops, both in-person and virtual, ranging from technical (i.e. Microsoft Office) to Soft Skills (i.e. feedback, teambuilding, etc.)
- Develop learning aids such as PowerPoint presentations, manuals, operating guides, visual aids and tutorials
- Own and maintain assigned training content, including but not limited to, course content, presentations, guides, job aids, and eLearning resources
- Serve as Program Manager for AP’s Internship Program and other learning and development programs
- Coordinate Learning and Development function including scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment
- ·Serve as lead in Learning Management System administration
- Track and report return on investment (ROI) for all training and development programs
What we look for in you:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of Learning and Development experience in a facilitation, instructional design, or related field required
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to persuade and gain buy-in from peer managers across the organization
- Strong business acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and self-initiativeÂ
