Join us in Cologne and become part of our dedicated team! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Demand & Supply Planning (m/f/d) for a period of 24 months to bridge a maternity leave. 

These are your tasks

  • You are responsible for technical and disciplinary management of a six-people team, including coaching, target setting and further development

  • You are managing all topics and projects arising in the area of responsibility internal and external

  • You are ensuring optimal forecast planning, replenishment planning (incl. co-packing activities & changes in portfolio – NPI & discontinued products), and inventory management

  • You are responsible for compliance of Supply Chain KPIs including ensuring meaningful and reliable use of tools and reporting

  • You´ll control harmonization and optimization of demand planning, supply planning, logistics and customs processes

  • You are contributing and executing a strong S&OP process to achieve a Collaborative Business Planning

  • You´ll execute cost analysis and extrapolations as well as derivation of trends and recommendations for action

  • Communication and coordination of the supply of goods with our international brand companies in coordination with Finance, Marketing and Sales are also part of your role

  • You are managing our logistics service provider (3PL) as well as international Logistic carriers on transportation, incoming goods, customs, and warehousing 

These are your skills

  • You have successfully completed business studies with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Finance or Logistics

  • You have many years of professional experience in the areas of Demand Planning & Supply Planning, ideally in the consumer goods industry

  • You have experience in leading and developing teams

  • You have excellent communication skills and an engaging hands-on mentality

  • You have the willingness to take responsibility and grow within the organization

  • You are interested in holistic connections within the Supply Chain

  • You have affinity for IT tools (e.g. Anaplan, PowerBI, JDE) as well as a pronounced ability of analytical thinking

  • You have high results in orientation and negotiation skills

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English and German
