• Sourcing and onboarding new translators including testing, review and feedback in language
• Adapt company’s Language Onboarding Kit to the target language; including Pixelogic Training Program, Pixelogic Language Test, etc.
• Manage and assign all Hindi OV & into Hindi projects to in-house translators, freelance translator within budget and schedule confirmed
• Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations that resonate with the target audience
• Review scripts, translations, and final product upon completion to ensure the highest possible technical/linguistic standards
• Conform, proofread and perform other linguistic tasks in subtitling software, as needed
• Ensure product quality and on-time delivery
• Monitor trends in region related to shifts in technology, creative or technical specifications
• Actively participate in language organizations, academia and universities
• Prepare and supervise periodic workshops (in-person or electronically) to ensure continuous education of translators
• Work closely with other locations in Pixelogic private network to maintain consistency in product and workflow
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Hindi/English bilingual
• Minimum of 5 years of Experience in localization, media industry(Translation or proofreading experience required)
• Bachelor’s degree in language-related field, e.g. translation, literature, journalism, etc.
• Experience in both Theatrical and non-Theatrical localization is preferred including Dialogue List
• Passionate about customer experience and customer service excellence
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of tools and devices in digital media
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of professional subtitling software highly desirable
• Good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization
• Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines and a fast-paced environment
• Deep sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Problem solver with creative and innovative approach with ability to think out of the box
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to plan complex projects with urgency
• A positive attitude when experiencing obstacles and enthusiastic to get things done
