Job Description

Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.

As a Test Lead (Automation) at Endava, you will be in charge of building, developing, and implementing automated tests to assure the quality of our software applications. You will take part in specific projects and work directly with our global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing user stories, use cases and requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to define the test cases.
• Execute all levels of testing.
• Managing client interaction.
• Design, develop, maintain and extend automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages.
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product life cycle.
• Provide support and documentation.

Qualifications

• +10 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Strong knowledge and experience in Automated testing.
• Experience in developing test automation frameworks from scratch and leading execution.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Web Services/API testing (REST API).
• Proficient in Java programing language and solid understanding of OOP.
• Ability of driving the product discovery phase, handling communication with clients and leading the test strategy definition.
• Experience in creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Expert in executing automated and manual test cases and accurately documenting test results.
• Language agnostic and comfortable with a variety of scripting languages and domains.
• Nice to have: Knowledge with Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines to set up automated builds and enable CI/CD.
• Desirable: ISTQB Certification or other relevant certifications
