Job Purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as Test Development Engineering Intern.

The Test Development Engineering Intern is responsible for assisting Test Development Engineering in various testing activities involving rotating electric machines and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in generic test setups and execution of testing activities
• Participate and contribute to complex engineering challenges
• Perform data analysis using developed analysis tools and presenting finished analysis

What We're Looking For

• Collegiate Undergraduate or Master's student majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics
• GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or B average, upon initial hire date
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
• Ability to routinely work in a hands-on manner
• Prior experience with automotive grade inverter or industrial drives is ideal but not required
• Experience with MATLAB, Python or other programming type languages is required
• Basic mechanical knowledge is required for this position
