Senior UX Designer

Location: Burbank - California (Hybrid – Tues-Thurs in-office)

Duration: 12 Months

Project: Our team builds user-centric B2B, B2C and POC digital products for a high-profile media company. From landing pages to robust business portals, we turn detailed requirements into intuitive and powerful experiences. We work in a deeply collaborative environment with designers working across multiple projects and business units. Your role will require you to provide User Experience and Design services to the to the entire company. This is a very rewarding position with the opportunity to create and improve engaging products that are used daily by employees as well as external customers. You will also have great networking opportunities with multiple teams cross-functionally.

Job Responsibilities:

Design Thinking Expertise: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with design thinking methodologies and frameworks. Ability to facilitate design thinking workshops and guide teams through the process from ideation to prototyping.

Documentation / UX Artifacts: Excellent documentation skills for capturing session outputs, observations, and results clearly and comprehensively. Ability to create detailed, visually appealing reports and presentations that convey insights effectively. Ex. Personas, User Journeys, Flow Maps, Affinity Maps

UX/UI Design: Ability to translate complex requirements into Wireframes to high fidelity Interactive Prototypes. Must also be versed in Visual Design, Design System, Branding / Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Mobile Native Design, Responsive Web Design.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, design, product, and development teams to integrate findings into projects. Adaptability to work in diverse team environments and respond to changing project needs.

Analytical Skills:

• Strong analytical skills to synthesize qualitative and quantitative research findings.
• Ability to identify key patterns, insights, and trends from user feedback and data.

Creative Problem Solving:

• Ability to think outside the box and guide teams toward innovative solutions.
• Flexibility to pivot and adapt processes based on new insights during the analysis phase.

Must Have Skills:

• Years experience: 10+ years of experience
• Experience in professional UX development.
• Excellent visual design skills – shown in Portfolio
• Advanced knowledge in Figma.
• Will be used to prototype and design within this role.
• Experience in designing enterprise software.
• Looking for UX designer who has previously worked on internal software for prior organizations.
• Excellent visual design skills – shown in Portfolio.
• Want to see engaging design within examples on portfolio. Ability to apply branding elements.
• Information and Data Synthesis Experience
• Making visual or other representations of data to communicate with stakeholders and clients.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
• Experience in software design and development.
• Background in Media or Entertainment
