The Team:

JW Player's Boost Team is responsible for understanding our customers' unique video advertising objectives and setups, as well as ensuring they are maximizing video ad revenue via our breadth of products and services. The Boost Team also sources and funnels unique contextual advertising campaigns to our customers to boost overall video revenue.

The Opportunity:

The Video Ad Operations Specialist role is directly responsible for interacting with Boost's Ad Sales Team to set up, monitor, and optimize contextual advertising campaigns. This role will gain an understanding of the needs of Boost's Advertiser/Agency customers, as well as gain an understanding of the pool of publisher/broadcaster inventory available.

As a Video Ad Operations Specialist, you will:

• Work with Ad Sales Team on campaign setup and monitoring.
• Build an understanding of the needs of advertising customers in collaboration with internal Ad Sales and Account Management teams.
• Identify optimization paths for each individual campaign,
• Troubleshoot campaign delivery to ensure campaigns start successfully, and remain on track with advertising customers' KPIs.
• Work with the Publisher Development team to understand the inventory pool that campaigns are being targeted to to maximize the amount of revenue being sent to JW Player customers.

Requirements for the role:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with the following:
  • Trafficking multiple ongoing video advertising campaigns.
  • Diagnosing poor campaign performance, asking the right questions, and then enacting a corrective plan.
• Interest and comfort in analyzing campaign performance data on a daily basis to identify issues, trends, etc.
• Comfort providing clear and concise communications to Ad Sales and Account Management teams.
• Significant familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Xandr Monetize + Curate, Springserve/Magnite, The Mediagrid, etc.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot with external/internal stakeholders such as partners and JW Player Product and Engineering teams.
• Ability to think beyond the day-to-day and consider the bigger picture, which should result in suggested improvements to processes and products.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience with contextual advertising campaigns
• Prior experience working at or directly with video publishers/broadcasters.
• Ability to analyze and diagnose successful vs unsuccessful publisher sites, video player setups, and most importantly video ad stacks.

*Benefits are subject to location and can change at the discretion of the Company. 

According to New York City local Council laws, local New York City applicants residing in and performing this role in New York City will receive an annual salary dependent on experience between USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 plus commission. In addition, applicants qualify for the benefits listed above. 

The salary band is not applicable to applicants outside of New York City. Applicants located outside of the New York City area will have an adjusted rate equitable and competitive to their residing and surrounding area.
