Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment This position has a requirement to lift up to 50lbs. in the regular performance of duties. The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time. Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. This position may require the employee to use personal protective equipment provided by the employer. This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position. Physical Effort: Work requires heavy physical effort which requires frequently lifting and moving objects weighingover 50 pounds. Work also requires periods of continuous walking, standing, or stooping. Working Conditions: Work may be outdoors in all kinds of weather. Indoors, the worker may be exposed to hot and cold drafts, dust, and noise, there is a chance of injury such as cuts, bruises, strains, and scrapes.
