Summary Lifeguard Certification Training is located at Richardson Pool on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii Upon completion of mandatory certifications, the incumbent will be non-competitively placed in a Recreation Aid Lifeguard position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. In addition, the incumbent may be subject to additional background checks if required to have regular and recurring contact with children. Fifteen (15) year old lifeguard trainees must comply with the restriction of the DOL Child Labors Law (Jan 17, 2006). Qualifications Minimum Qualification Must be able to swim and participate in the lifeguard certifications. Education No educational requirement.
