We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for an hybrid Account + Digital Coordinator to join our growing Consumer Lifestyle team

ACCOUNT/DIGITAL COORDINATOR, CONSUMER LIFESTYLE

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level professional who wants to flex their skillsets to learn the bread and butter multifaceted marketing on the earned PR and digital/social fronts.  

You’ll be part of a fun-loving team that encourages critical thinking as much as creativity (aka the best of both worlds!). We’re looking for someone who has up to a year of experience working on earned media and/or social media and influencer marketing campaigns, who is looking to combine areas of expertise and will bring energy, excitement and passion to the position.

The AC/DC is the backbone of a successful team, helping to keep us organized and informed, while also assisting with the execution of integrated communications campaigns. You’ll work on a number of brands blending focusing on PR programs that include earned media storytelling, influencer programming, and bold creative platforms, as well as filling the role of community management.  You’ll be at the forefront of our clients’ social media communities reporting insights and learnings back to the team. In assisting with the execution of integrated campaigns, the AC/DC begins learning digital strategy, social media + influencer marketing, and breakthrough earned media campaigns.

What You’ll Do: 

Media Relations

  • Build media lists using resources such as Cision and Muckrack
  • Begin to form relationships with key media outlets
  • Help to craft pitches 
  • Conduct outreach and secure coverage
  • Monitor for coverage (client and competitive)

Influencer Programming

  • Build influencer rosters
  • Support content review process
  • Collect and report back-end creator metrics

Project Management

  • Serve as coordinator of your team, schedule internal/client calls
  • Set call agendas and share comprehensive recaps
  • Organize client folders and databases
  • Oversee brand samples and track inventory (if applicable)
  • Coordinate deliveries to media and influencers
  • Coordinate team/client meeting details (check in, meals, etc.)
  • Support events and mailers

Measurement & Merchandising

  • Manage clips and media/social placement coverage reports/ tracking documents
  • Provide ongoing monitoring for client and competitor coverage
  • Own ongoing client reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and trackers, keeping them updated and accurate
  • Support programmatic reports (e.g., event recap, mailer recap, influencer campaign recap, etc.)

Digital Support: 

  • Community manages client social channels like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube
  • Learns vendor software and social media listening/measurement tools (i.e. Sprinklr, Brandwatch, TalkWalker, etc.)
    • Publishes content to social channels
    • Monitors social media conversations
    • Analyzes content performance and reports back to team
  • Assists with compiling social media content calendars
  • Works with designers and project managers to create social content
  • Brainstorms digital activations and social media content ideas
  • Attends and contributes to client/team meetings, takes notes
  • Monitors digital trends and shares with internal team
  • Assists in the production of new business materials
  • Participates in client events with a focus on social amplification
  • Assist the team in managing interns
  • Becomes familiar with agency technology, Slack, Monday.com, Bard, Midjourney, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 0-1 years of experience (internships included)
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Proactive and curious mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • On the pulse of pop culture, trends, entertainment, and news

Location: NYC

Our Flexible Work Policy: 

We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event. 

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
