Job Description
Teledyne Controls LLC is seeking an Accountant to support the El Segundo business. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the accuracy of accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to procedural standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Contact customers about pending and past due invoices
- Document results and track progress
- Follow-up routinely to resolution
- Forecast and Manage the Cashflow weekly
- Analyze and Report A/R related data semi-monthly.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
- Provides record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
- Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for managers.
- Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
- Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state and local reports and tax returns.
- Serves as back-up for other accounting duties.
- Supports the preparation of year-end audit files and analysis.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in related fields and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).
Salary Range:
$59,400.00-$79,310.000
Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
