The Asset & Wealth Management division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). We provide public and private asset management, wealth management and banking expertise to institutions around the world. The GSAM Nordic Team is responsible for business, solution & product development for new and existing client base. Clients include insurance companies, pension funds, financial institutions, distributors, foundations and endowments across Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Iceland.

The Executive Director role, based in Copenhagen will together with other senior team members and with a dedicated associate be responsible for driving a key strategic partnership. This includes business development, day to day servicing and facing as a conduit between GSAM and the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Contribute to a broad platform that serves as the client's main point of contact for a diverse set of functional areas, including portfolio management, trading, operations, legal, and compliance.
• Provide a superior level of service across all aspects of the client experience, including portfolio reviews, management of client inquiries, ad hoc issue resolution and management of client meetings.
• Strong awareness of client interests and investment trends coupled with the intellectual curiosity to explore and research those areas to best deliver the resources of the firm to our clients

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• University degree or equivalent
• Minimum of +7 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the financial industry
• Fluency (written and oral proficiency) in Danish or Norwegian and English is required.
• Project management and organisational skills with a high degree of detail orientation.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team player
• Motivated professional with strong work ethic
• Strong commercial acumen
• Good insight to investment funds and separately managed accounts
• A good understanding of fundamental and quantitative investment strategies including global fixed income & currency, equity, and alternative investment strategies.
• Interest in portfolio construction, risk management or accounting principles would be beneficial.
