Job Description

Pay Rate: $16.85 per hour

Shift Hours: 1 am - 9:30 am +OT

(Additional $.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Hang whole birds from belt to overhead shackles.
• Manually pick up birds by the back, leg or breast and hang onto an overhead shackle up to 34 BPM.
• Birds that do not meet the quality standards are hung on specific shackle lines.
• Rotate into: Chick way, WOG, Graders, One leg salvage, Reconditioning, Condensation, and hanging for whole bag fryers or segment lines.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor
• Good hand-eye coordination. Ability to make quick quality judgment decisions within the levels of assigned duties.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting up to 40 lbs required.
• All workers are required to use small hand tools such as knives and scissors.
