The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Data Engineer who will be working with the Marketing Data and Analytics group. We are building the first Enterprise Data Marketing Media Aggregator service on AWS with integrations to multiple off premise vendors and sourcing existing marketing reporting solutions. This role will work closely with business and IT partners on delivering capabilities to measure marketing performance and effectiveness in an agile environment. Calling individuals that want to expand their horizon alongside energetic engineers and are able work hard to meet timelines and bring in the lively element along the way. The right candidate would have rich technical expertise and high curiosity to take calculated risks to move the technology forward to achieve business objectives.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week This position will be based out of San Antonio; TX or Plano; TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Data Engineers (DEs) are engaged in all phases of the data management lifecycle. This includes gathering and analyzing requirements, collecting, processing, storing, securing, and archiving data. Develop and maintain technical systems for data reporting and technical solutions utilizing emerging technologies. Partner with the business to ensure data management solutions aligned to business objectives.

What we offer:
Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $89,990- $172,000
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
