Software has eaten the world; almost every company produces software in some form or fashion, so our addressable market is virtually every company on earth. We're going after every engineering team on the planet - we're starting with smaller teams, but there are literally hundreds of thousands of companies out there for us to empower and maybe only a handful (Google, Facebook, Amazon), that are outside our scope. We are building the DevEx platform to empower the world.
 
In 2022, we raised a $25M Series A led by Initialized Capital (Garry Tan) and a16z (Peter Levine), with investments from Haystack Ventures, Garage VC, Tom Preston Warner (Founder/CEO of GitHub), Geoff Schmidt (Founder/CEO Apollo GraphQL), Nicolas Dessaigne (Founder/CEO Algolia), and Oleg Rognysky (Founder/CEO Peopl.ai).



What you'll do 🧑‍💻
  • Lead creative initiatives from ideation to final execution, even with limited resources, ensuring cohesive design solutions.
  • Own all customer-facing marketing assets, including trunk.io, promotional materials, newsletter design, and assets for our newsletter, social media, blog, and docs.
  • Drive the evolution of Trunk’s web and brand identity by thinking strategically and creatively about the company’s digital and brand presence.
  • Contribute to design systems and style guides that align with brand values and can scale with future growth.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure designs support broader business objectives.
  • Communicate design ideas clearly and effectively through strong written, verbal, and visual presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices in digital design, branding, and user experience.



We're looking for 🔎
  • Ability to partner with leadership and go-to-market (GTM) teams to align brand initiatives with business and marketing goals.
  • Someone who enjoys translating technical concepts into effective visual metaphors.
  • A champion for exceptional design standards, ensuring high quality and consistency across all branding, marketing, and web assets.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading brand campaigns that resonate with target audiences and differentiate Trunk in the marketplace.
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong advocate for a user-centric approach to design, ensuring all brand touchpoints provide an exceptional user experience.
  • High proficiency in Figma (and bonus points for motion design software).

The salary and equity range for this role are: $120K - $150K and .05% - .1%.
