Summary

Strategic Account Director is responsible for guarding and cultivating IGT's strategic corporate customer relationships and orchestrating the deployment of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive products, services, and solutions to strategic accounts. Develops and closes major sales for assigned customers. Considered the most senior level individual contributor sales account manager and viewed as an expert at managing IGT's most critical, highly visible, and strategic customers.

Responsibilities• Builds relationships with CEOs, COOs, GMs, and senior executives of strategic customers/accounts where the ongoing relationship is critical to the success of IGT and the customer • Strategic point-of-contact sales manager responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development; creates relationships that have a business purpose beyond generating revenue • Responsible for managing the relationship that furthers business development activity • Responsible for tactical sales negotiations • Analyzes field and competitive intelligence to understand competitive strategies and identify opportunities where IGT can add value to a customer's strategy • Identifies emerging, or responds to, complex problems that will affect sales for assigned accounts and works with customers and regulators to ensure their rapid resolution • Maintains trusted relations across diverging cultures, geographies, and economies • Responsible for the development of customer-specific sales forecasts, goals, and strategies • Develops and continuously improves sales tactics for each customer and product or service line for assigned customers to meet or exceed established customer-specific sales goals • Regularly assesses the trends and competitive positioning of IGT's products in the area • Establishes resource requirements, budgets and performance standards for the customers directed • Regularly interacts with regional directors and account managers who are responsible for local and international properties • Coordinates with marketing, sales, and technology groups to implement business development strategies into specific initiatives • Develops and closes complex sales of IGT's products and services with strategic customers and monitors selling expenses to ensure cost effective operations of the customers managed • Escalates highly complex strategic or operating issues or requests to gain cooperation at the highest levels of IGT management

Qualifications• Typically has 10+ years of experience in strategic sales and account management as well as developing and enhancing customer relations. • Industry experience in, gaming machine, and/or systems sales or casino operations preferred • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA preferred. • Recognized as a senior strategic and operational leader with expert competence in developing customer relationships and sales planning and selling • Able to balance IGT's needs and outcomes with personal financial outcomes • Has the ability to quickly develop expert knowledge of all or a majority of IGT products, IGT's brand and the market positioning and sales strategies • Has the ability to quickly develop expert knowledge of the competitive and regulatory landscape and of current competitive trends affecting customers.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $124,000 - $197,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses . In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance.
