Job Title:  Director of IT Operations (US)

Role Description: 

Quickbase is on the hunt for a dynamic Director of IT Operations to lead our dedicated team of IT professionals and facilities staff. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organization's IT operations, infrastructure, and facilities management. This position is tailor-made for someone who thrives in a scaling, fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to build effective teams, establish operational frameworks, and drive continuous improvement. 

As the backbone of our IT strategy, you will be instrumental in setting governance standards, adopting industry best practices, and boosting our operational efficiency. Your mission will be to ensure our IT infrastructure not only runs like a well-oiled machine but also aligns with and propels Quickbase's strategic goals. Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Lead the IT operations and facilities staff and provide guidance on managing the company's infrastructure, network, systems, and security. 

• Develop and implement policies, processes and best practices that ensure the dependability, security, and scalability of Quickbase's systems & endpoints. 

• Create governance best practices and standards to guarantee adherence to legal obligations and industry norms. 

• Contribute to and implement the organization's IT strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the CIO and other IT leaders. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the installation and maintenance of corporate applications and systems. 

• Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure support SLAs are met while getting the best value for IT services and products. 

• Track and report on system uptime, incident response time, and user satisfaction in addition to other essential IT performance indicators. 

• Determine IT risks and weaknesses, address them, and create backup plans to lessen the effects of potential disruptions. 

• Increase operational effectiveness on a continuous basis by figuring out ways to automate and optimize processes. 

• Oversee IT projects from start through completion to make sure they are finished on schedule, under budget, and in compliance with business needs. 

• To keep Quickbase's technology systems cutting-edge and competitive, keep up with evolving technologies and market trends. 

Basic Qualifications:  

• Proficiency in Azure AD and Okta, ensuring secure and efficient identity and access management across the organization. 

• Strong technical understanding of network operations, systems, and IT infrastructure. 

• Practical knowledge of Jira for project tracking, and PowerShell for advanced automation and configuration tasks. 

• Knowledge about best practices and standards for governance. 

• Experience leading IT projects from concept to completion and managing IT teams. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build bonds and work well with cross-functional teams. 

• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, together with the capacity for strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making.
