Ford Motor Company is undertaking an effort to deploy SAP Production Planning (PP) and Inventory Management (IM) functionality to support Supply Chain and Manufacturing systems. This position is for an experienced Data Architect who can support a major Data Driven designed initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position...

Enterprise Technology is looking for a hands-on and highly motivated individual who can work with a global team that is developing & deploying SAP S/4HANA for Ford's core manufacturing plants. The Data Architect will provide data driven design leadership. You will work with a large cross-functional team of Supply Chain IT members, a System's Integrator and software vendors, manufacturing business subject matter experts, and IT leads from numerous integrating systems.

This is a hybrid position, the Data/Solution Architect will collaborate with colleagues and teams three days/ week in our Dearborn, MI office.

QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of functional/technical data Architecture experience:
  • Proven understanding of database design and data modeling principles
  • Data Warehouse experience - data acquisition, ETL tools, metadata, and data access
• 1+ years of experience working with SAP S/4 HANA

Even better, you may have...

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Data-Centric Architecture experience
• Data Mesh
• SAP S4 HANA experience
• Google Cloud Platform technologies experience / knowledge (Big Query and Postgres SQL)
• Automotive industry experience or similar manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience working in a global team and an onshore/offshore team model.
• Experience working with a Systems Integrator
• Data Analytics experience
• Strong project management skills with effective communication and collaboration
• Respect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer
• Excellent at problem solving and prevention.
