Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily tactical activities to support manufacturing continuity
• Take ownership and follow-through on quality, and delivery commitments.
• Utilize problem-solving skills and insistently attack problems facing the business
• Provide category managers and buyers with current information, help needed, and potential solutions
• Tracks and validates the impact of supplier shortages by maintaining supplier shortage war room data
• Communicate current status and actions being taken for all suppliers impacting ability to meet customer demand
• Additionally, this position will directly work with the RLCS FG souring manager
  
  • Manage all SAP activity such as schedule agreements, loading purchase orders, vendor maintenance and reporting
  • Works with schedulers to ensure forecast accuracy
  • Works with local receiving department to ensure accurate receipt information for payment system
  • Manages purchasing activity in DART payment system to ensure on time and accurate payments to suppliers
  • Coordinates LE reporting activity and data gathering and reporting of monthly PPM and OTD

Education:

• BA/BS degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Engineering

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and bills of material.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to succeed in the day-to-day management of competing priorities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Quantitative spreadsheet analysis

Required Computer Competency:

A strong working competency and ability to expand capabilities continuously and independently with the following computer software applications is required:

• Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access
• Power BI or similar data analytics is a benefit
• PLM, preferably Windchill, is a benefit
• ERP, SAP, Glovia, BPIX experience is a benefit
