Internship - Enterprise strategy consultant - IBM France H/F

Introduction
As a Strategy Consultant at IBM you will help reinvent businesses and industries by developing and utilizing specialized knowledge of industry-specific and cross-industry competitive strategies. You’ll manage complex components of an engagement working closely with clients and their customers to understand their pain points. Your strategic recommendations will drive change in a digitally-enabled era and give you the opportunity to collaborate with highly talented IBMers. Are you ready?

Your Role and Responsibilities
As part of a team and working with strategy consultants from the IBM Consulting global network you will take part in one or more projects aimed at understanding a client’s strategic challenges and formulating recommendations to address their transformation. Specifically you will learn to:

• Explore procurement transformation opportunities based on the customer’s positioning relative performance (benchmarking) and available innovation;
• Identify obstacles and risks formulate hypotheses carry out analyses quantify the value of interventions and propose recommendations for procurement transformation projects;
• Participate in the development of roadmaps and sustainable investment plans contribute to the development of implementation recommendations and support their execution;
• Use IBM methodologies and resources to establish benchmarks and build business cases;
• Contribute to the development of support for executive functions within clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master 2 student (CTI-accredited engineering or business school / Master’s degree) with a specialisation in digital transformation
• Bilingual French/English (written and spoken) (minimum level C1)
• Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel PowerPoint) and agile project management methods
• Knowledge of processes organisation and transformation environment procurement sustainability and finance
• An inquisitive proactive and collaborative mind ready to take on complex challenges and work as part of a team.
• Excellent ability to analyse synthesise and model agility and intellectual rigour good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal) interest in new technologies and business functions.
