Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.
Assist our VP with meeting schedule and travel arrangements as needed
Assist with tracking incoming legal process and ensuring prompt responses in ongoing matters
Coordinate incoming product & marketing requests for internal reviews and triage submissions
Assist with intellectual property matters including conducting basic research
Coordinate with the privacy law team to assist with program processes including privacy impact assessments data subject requests and commercial agreements
Assist with ongoing internal AI and algorithmic governance processes
Assist with managing outside counsel budgets and onboarding
Support insurance matters including annual policy renewals and claim submissions
Route documents for signature via DocuSign
Support with ad hoc projects and research as needed
Some experience with litigation preferred
Experience with keeping internal processes running smoothly and proven ability on process improvement
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to collaborate seamlessly with external stakeholders
Attention to detail ability to track and coordinate multiple projects (and sometimes with competing deadlines).
Some experience with managing outside counsel billing and onboarding
Paralegal certificate preferred but not required
