Job Description
Please note: This role will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence.
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Conversion copywriter to join the Revenue Growth team at Freshworks. You will be responsible for improving the performance of our conversion-focused assets, including Ads, landing pages, in-product messaging, and email for 5 different products and personas. You will focus on crafting conversion-focused copy for various channels that drive Inbound leads.
You thrive in global and cross-functional organizational structures.
What you'll do at Freshworks:
  • Own delivery and performance of all conversion-focused copy that impacts inbound acquisition
  • Produce engaging and persuasive direct response copy for ads, landing pages, in-product messaging, and email for specific personas, products, and buyer roles
  • Interpret briefs from internal teams such as Paid growth, SEO, and web Conversion optimization and turn them into persuasive copy concepts; test and optimize headline, subhead, and CTA copy to improve conversion
  • Partner with Product Marketing to understand and articulate product value propositions
  • Collaborate with Brand marketing to ensure a consistent tone of voice across ads, landing pages, and other formats
  • Continuously improve Ad, Email, and Landing page CTR based on platform and behavioral analytics

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 10+ years of experience in copywriting for a SaaS organization; PLG experience preferred
  • A strong, diverse portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of different formats
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - you can perform a root cause analysis and develop copy solutions most appropriate for solving the problem statement

Additional Information

California Pay Range: $138,000 - $224,250 comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation: You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
