Job Description
About Haus
Haus is a first of its kind decision science platform for the new digital privacy paradigm where data sharing and PII is restricted. Haus uses frontier causal inference based econometric models to run experiments and help brands understand how the actions they take in marketing, pricing and promotions impact the bottom line. Our team is comprised of former product managers, economists and engineers from Google, Netflix, Amazon and Meta who saw how costly it is to support high-quality decision science tooling and incrementality testing. Our mission is to make this technology available to all businesses, where all the heavy lifting of experiment design, data cleaning, and analysis/insights are taken care of for you. Haus is working with well known brands like FanDuel, Sonos, and Hims & Hers, and has seen more than 30x ROI by running experiments and helping brands make more profitable decisions. We are backed by top VCs like Insight Partners, Baseline Ventures, and Haystack.
What you'll do
As an early member of the Operations team at Haus, you will be at the heart of our company’s operations. Reporting to the Head of Ops, you will help build and maintain various processes across People Operations, Finance, and Operational Strategy that contribute to our company’s growth and success. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and make a significant impact on our day-to-day operations and long-term strategy.
The Operations Manager role is a great opportunity for individuals interested in leveraging their strategic mindset while expanding their operator skillset, owning the various cross-disciplinary tasks required to support a company growing from the ground-up. This role would open the door to a number of exciting career paths: future founders or COOs who want the confidence of having seen and done it all before, or someone looking for the cross-functional exposure that allows them to eventually transition into another function at Haus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimize HR processes, including new team member onboarding, immigration/sponsorship needs, employee benefits administration, and performance management.
- Handle financial tasks such as customer invoicing, evaluate business cases for new tools/systems, expense tracking, and overall P&L management.
- Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and documentation to support our growth and maintain a high level of operating efficiency.
- Support the creation of investor level reporting and presentations, including board decks and fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including members of our Revenue, Marketing, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Science teams, to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-4 years of experience in finance, consulting, or operations roles
- Track record of delivering results in a fast-moving environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize across initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in developing a world-class software company
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience with growth marketing, marketing measurement, or advertising platforms (e.g., Google, Meta, TikTok)
- Preference for candidates located in the Bay Area or NYC Area, based on current location of the Ops team
About You
- You are passionate about operations and eager to contribute to the success of a growing startup.
- You thrive in a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.
- You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
- You are a team player who enjoys working cross-functionally to achieve common goals.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary and early startup equity
- Top of the line health, dental, and vision insurance
