The Product Configuration Specialist supports the business through product management within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role will ensure complete and accurate creation and maintenance of these products. The Product Configuration Specialist will lead the business to make decisions that are effective and compliant with our ERP system. This position is located in Livonia, MI.

As a Product Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing and setting up operations within the ERP system such as bill of material, labor standards, products and sell prices
• Evaluating the set ups with back checking to verify accuracy of work
• Maintaining ERP system with product life cycle management per program definitions
• Representing management in change control meetings, ensuring change orders are compliant with established processes and procedures
• Collaborating with the Change Control Analyst to make sure information on change orders is accurate prior to approving them
• Providing timing of deliveries to ensure compliance with due dates

As a Product Configuration Specialist, you will need:

• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in materials, supply chain, engineering bill of material or change management
• Ability to focus on details and ensure a high level of accuracy in all aspects of job performance.
• Proficiency in MS Office with a high level of Excel ability; pivot tables and extensive formula use
• A self-starter that can prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment while maintaining multiple projects at once

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft
