Job description, responsibilities, and duties

Brno, the Czech Republic, Full-time

As a Procure to Pay Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the entire procurement process through to payment. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all procurement activities run smoothly and comply with company policies.

Your workday will just fly by as you will do:
1. supplier selection and management:
- Identification and evaluation of suppliers.
- Maintaining supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.

2. order processing:
- Creating and managing purchase orders in the system.
- Monitoring the order status and ensuring on-time delivery.

3. invoice verification and approval:
- Checking incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Clarification of discrepancies between orders, deliveries and invoices.

4. payment processing:
- Ensuring timely payments to suppliers.
- Working with the accounting department to reconcile payments.

5. process optimization:
- Analyzing and improving existing procure to pay processes.
- Implementation of best practices to increase efficiency.

6. reporting and documentation:
- Preparation of reports on procurement activities and expenses.
- Documentation of all relevant processes and procedures.
