The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.


We put the restaurant brand first. The Sauce Sales team is on a mission to reinvent the delivery industry for restaurants around the United States (and beyond!). As we continue to grow our Sales team, we are in need of a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is curious, investigative, disciplined and easily able to multitask.


Our SDRs are responsible for prospecting leads for our New York City and Miami Sales Executives and ensuring the management of the outbound portfolio, building pipelines and managing relationships with new and prospective clients.


We are re-envisioning the current delivery market by allowing restaurant owners and operators to own their delivery business (inclusive of their customer data), reducing their dependency on 3rd party ordering platforms. A growing team of experienced and determined sales people, we are ready to share our 1st party delivery platform with the world, and to really show what it means to be a partner to restaurants.


The schedule for this role will be Monday to Friday, with a normal EST work schedule.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect small to medium-sized restaurants and restaurant groups in New York City and/or Miami
  • Identify and qualify leads to ensure they are interested in the Sauce product and are prepared to speak with a Sales Executive
  • Manage your funnel of potential restaurants
  • Present Sauce as a strong solution through phone calls and emails
  • Organize a schedule for your outreach, with at least 40 cold calls per day

What You'll Bring:

  • Based anywhere in South America or Mexico
  • Experience in sales as an SDR or in some sort of B2B outbound prospecting role
  • You’re not deterred by cold calling and rejection, and push through each time
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, with strong verbal and written communication
  • You persevere and are resilient, positive, and flexible in your work and approach
  • You take challenges head on and learn quickly from your mistakes
  • Technologically savvy and can learn new tools
  • Perform daily responsibilities with a drive for results
  • Experience with HubSpot, Slack, and equivalent tools
  • Restaurant / Hospitality experience a plus
