Launched in 2012, BorrowMyDoggy is one of the UKâs fastest-growing online dog communities, enabling dog owners to connect with friendly locals who can help take care of their dogs. Our aim is to leave âPawprints of Happinessâ on the lives of dogs and people.
What we are looking forâŚ
Weâre looking for a strategic and tech-savvy SEO Specialist who understands the evolving landscape of search engine optimization, including the growing role of AI in search algorithms, content ranking, and performance tracking. This person will take ownership of BorrowMyDoggyâs SEO strategy, ensuring our platform continues to grow organically and remains highly discoverable.
Responsibilities...
- Develop and manage a data-driven SEO strategy aligned with company goals and growth objectives.
- Conduct regular website and keyword performance audits to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Perform link analysis and development, ensuring a strong internal and external link structure that enhances page authority and relevance.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO best practices, ensuring optimal site architecture, speed, and crawlability.
- Optimize metadata, content, and user experience to maximize organic search visibility.
- Analyze the role of AI tools in search algorithms (e.g., Googleâs AI-powered updates like RankBrain or BERT) and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Leverage AI-powered SEO tools to forecast trends, automate reporting, and improve keyword targeting.
- Set and track performance metrics and KPIs, reporting on SEO performance with actionable insights.
- Stay current with the latest trends in SEO, AI, and SEM, including search engine updates and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SEO (3+ years preferred), with demonstrable results in driving organic growth.
- Strong understanding of AI's role in modern SEO practices, including how AI impacts search algorithms and ranking factors.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Experience briefing development teams and managing projects from initiation to completion.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Creative problem-solving skills to navigate the challenges of modern SEO landscapes.
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to clearly present SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Passion for continuous learning, especially around AI tools and their integration into SEO workflows.
