Flatirons is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team.
 
Flatirons seeks a senior QA engineer (hybrid automation + manual) to join our growing team. This position focuses on Cypress for the web and Appium, Maestro, or Detox for mobile. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and cares greatly about the quality of the experiences they create. This position involves interacting with U.S.-based clients, so your English level must meet this standard (B2+). This is a full-time, 40-hour/week remote role, and candidates must be available to work Eastern Standard Time.



ABOUT YOU
  • You live in Latin America
  • You have 5+ years of automated and manual QA experience
  • You have strong experience with mobile testing using tools such as Appium, Maestro, or Detox
  • You have strong experience with Cypress or a comparable web automation framework
  • You are detail-oriented and care about the end-user experience
  • You are passionate about well-functioning software products
  • You have strong experience with X-Ray and Jira
 



WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Helping create mobile and web applications for companies in the U.S.
  • Organizing test plans and scenarios using X-Ray
  • Writing automated tests for the web using Cypress
  • Writing automated tests for mobile using a framework like Appium, Maestro, or Detox
  • Interacting directly with U.S.-based clients
  • Collaborating with PMs, designers, and engineers to ensure we deliver high-quality products in a timely manner
  • Contributing to the growing culture of a team that is building beautiful, impactful products
