Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst at Insomniac Design you’ll play a pivotal role in our success serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Business Analyst will bring technical expertise and design knowledge to every project to ensure exceptional quality business value and delivery. You’ll spearhead requirements gathering and definition leveraging experience and certifications in a requirements framework to uphold high-quality processes in user stories acceptance criteria and test case production.

• Designs and leads implementation of product process automation and/or streamlines work using industry best practices or incremental ideas resulting in systemic improvements and/or increased engagement.

• Designs new business processes that have a positive impact on customers and drives organizational growth.

• Mentors junior and mid-level team members actively participates in the hiring process advocates for business improvements and contributes to the performance management process providing valuable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Leads product requirements gathering documentation and validating processes throughout the project lifecycle.

• Leads discussions with clients stakeholders users and internal team members to analyze discuss and document functionality.

• Collaborates cross-departmentally to refine and validate requirements and functionality capturing assumptions and creating alignment of purpose.

• Leads the creation of Business Requirements Specifications User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.

• Supports QA with test case development.

• Assists in the testing process to refine requirements.

• Owns and successfully conducts the process of measuring reporting and meeting requirements.

• Recommends changes to product roadmaps based on requirements evolution.

• Leads the creation of user training materials and facilitates product training sessions for clients and end users.

• Facilitates product demonstrations for clients partnering with other project leads to field questions and feedback from clients.

• Facilitates client testing and UAT including creating testing guides for clients and triaging incoming feedback.

• Meticulously maintains ticket hygiene.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst within a client-facing digital agency environment.

• Expert at leading client stakeholder and user-facing discussions to produce actionable and aligned requirements.

• Expert at designing and documenting Business Analyst processes with demonstrated expertise in driving best practices and process maturity.

• Expertise in creating and maintaining requirements user acceptance testing strategies and maintenance documentation including User Stories Acceptance Criteria Test Cases Functional Requirements Specifications Business Requirements Specifications User Training and Testing Guides and other relevant documents.

• Experience using digital development tools (i.e. Jira Confluence Figma).

• Experience with Web Products built on a variety of platforms.

• Experience meeting critical deadlines adapting quickly to shifting priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly to internal and external stakeholders.

$110000 - $140000 a year
