About the Role: 
The Senior Director, Organic Growth & SEO is responsible for designing and implementing data-driven strategies to grow site traffic and conversions from non-paid growth initiatives.  
 
This role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive roadmap focus on acquiring subscribers and increasing member LTV through organic tactics including technical and content SEO, ASO, content amplification, and content syndication.  
 
The Sr Director, Organic Growth & SEO will also provide key leadership on the convergence of digital transformation and growth marketing, overseeing site optimization, customer journeys/CRO, as well as eCommerce or martech solutions to support acquisition and growth metrics.  
 
The Sr. Director will also lead development of the team, processes, and systems necessary to establish a world-class organic growth team. This role will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Performance Marketing, Brand, and Product partners, to ensure organic growth accelerates to ensure stronger financial performance for the company.  
 
This highly visible role can be fully remote from any U.S. state that IPSY has nexus in and reports to the SVP of Growth.  
 
What You’ll Be Doing: 
  • Be our strategic lead in defining and managing strategies to grow traffic, leads, and non-paid subscribers from search engines and other search-related platforms.  
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Performance Marketing, Content, Web Analytics and Product, to ensure all our activities move in a direction that is coherent with organic growth strategy and objectives. 
  • Identify the correct KPIs to track in order to evaluate the impact of organic growth activities and reporting results to leadership and peers.  
  • Analyzing and attribute SEO performance data using tools like Rockerbox, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush. 
  • Interpret key performance metrics, identify trends, and prioritize opportunities for revenue growth through enhancements to store pages, blog content, app store information, landing pages, etc. 
  • Oversee and steer efforts to continually improve website/blog copy and web site conversion rates through A/B and multivariate testing, CRO strategy, and best practice adoption. 
  • Stay abreast of changes in search engine behavior, identify emerging customer opportunities, and bring new opportunities and ideas to fruition. 
  • Identify opportunities for automation leveraging internal/external adtech and martech tools. Act as strategic lead for the integration of AI/ML into organic strategy, and help build an integrated roadmap to support selection and use of adtech and martech solutions that support growth goals.  
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content, and Product specialists to review and optimize existing Content, and to create from scratch pages that are rank-worthy and drive conversions.  
  • Become our internal evangelist on organic growth topics. Mentoring other members in the Growth team, and in the teams you'll be collaborating with, on the hows and whys of SEO and organic growth. 
What We are Looking For: 
  • Proven experience as a hands-on SEO leader, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leading and driving organic growth. 
  • Highly analytical mindset, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision-making and drive results. 
  • History of leading CRO and customer journey improvements in close collaboration with Brand, Eng, and Product stakeholders.  
  • Proficient in modeling and leveraging data to inform stakeholders of direction.  
  • Significant experience in growing search traffic at high scale for consumer companies in competitive multi-brand industries.  
  • Proficiency in utilizing SEO tools, analytics platforms, and data visualization tools. 
  • Hands on experience with marketing attribution, measurement, and customer experience or personalization technology required.   
  • E-commerce expertise required, with subscription or membership experience a bonus.

For United States Remote Roles: Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states where IPSY has established a Business presence to be eligible for hire: Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming. 
Salary Range: $180,000 - $235,000 USD 
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, IPSY also offers a bonus, equity grants and competitive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
