Senior Experience Designer - Patient Interactions

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Experience Designer to join our design team. You’ll play a pivotal role in our care delivery shaping our service by crafting our patient care interactions from working with our AI chatbots to expanding our communication capabilities into new modalities.

What You’ll Do

• Craft empathetic intelligent and effective experiences that account for user context behavioral archetypes and modality nuances.

• Work hand-in-hand with your peer product manager engineering lead and AI lead to advance Curai’s care delivery through ideating on new capabilities uncovering requirements crafting user flows and ensuring seamless implementation.

• Analyze user interactions and feedback to uncover actionable insights and opportunity areas that improve Curai’s service and care delivery.

• Conduct market patient and stakeholder research to understand needs and preferences capture requirements and validate and improve Curai’s care delivery experience.

• Apply behavioral science principles to design interactions that motivate and support adherence to treatment plans and sustainable lifestyle changes.

• Through workshopping and hands-on design create assets that communicate best-in-class UX to product managers engineers and clinicians such as flow diagrams mockups prototypes and build guides.

• Expand our patient care delivery capabilities to include voice and video interactions.

• Work closely with AI clinical product and engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation.

What You’ll Need

• Candidates must submit a digital portfolio of at least three professional Conversation Design projects demonstrating the impact of their work the process undertaken and the artifacts produced to facilitate collaboration with product managers engineers and other stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience designing chat or multi-modal interactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design Psychology or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in designing engaging and effective consumer products.

• Strong understanding of human-centered design principles.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.

• Demonstrable experience in conducting and synthesizing research with users and stakeholders.

• Affinity to Curai’s core values – mission orientation impact & agency and emotional intelligence.

Our ideal candidate also has

• Experience crafting multi-modal interactions that include voice and video.

• Experience with behavior change.

• Experience crafting engaging experiences built upon generative AI and large language models.

• Experience working in complex and regulated environments such as Healthcare and Financial Services.

This position's annual base salary range is between $150000 and $200000 annually. Stock grants also play a key part in any offer; they significantly increase your overall compensation package based on company success. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
