Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement of our finance landscape.
You will be involved in developing and operating Spring Boot microservices in a cloud-native environment on Microsoft Azure, helping to foster a DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop data integration and business services within a microservices framework
• Ensure that services perform according to specifications and pass all tests
• Adhere to and promote DevSecOps standards throughout the software development lifecycle
• Manage and support microservices during testing and production phases
• Address architectural considerations and incorporate them into development decisions
• Create automated unit tests for code validation
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java development with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Background in relational databases with a strong preference for those experienced in PostgreSQL
• Expertise in test driven development including both unit and integration tests
• Skills in operating within a DevOps team structure
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-native development and Kubernetes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Capability to work with messaging and stream processing architectures using Kafka
• Competency in CI/CD processes for streamlined integration and deployment

Salary range €3.6K-€5.5K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
