Job Description
About Us
G Adventures is the world’s largest small-group adventure travel company and we’ve been making epic travel memories happen on all seven continents for over 30 years.
Our mission is simple: to change lives through travel. And not just our travelers’ either. Since day one, our tours have been built to establish meaningful relationships with local communities, directly benefiting the people and places we visit at every step of our tours.
With the demand for travel coming back strong, we are set up and excited for this next chapter in our company’s story — and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
Our DNA revolves around building, nurturing, and developing a diverse culture of people and a true sense of belonging, where everyone is encouraged to bring their authentic self to work each and every day. You’ll have the opportunity to grow your career, and yourself, alongside a passionate, talented, and welcoming community that works hard to spread goodness around the world.
If all that sounds like your kind of thing, well, we can’t wait for you to join us.
Do you have a passion for travel and the zest for adventure? Due to our continued growth, we are always looking for people to fit into our team of wanderlust employees. Whilst most companies look to fit people into a job description, at G Adventures we need people to fit into our company culture and live by our company core values: Love, Lead, Embrace, Create, Do.
Working with us is a lifestyle choice that will give you the chance to work for an organisation that is young, aggressive and proud of being market leaders. We are a "work hard/play hard" company that is dedicated to our entrepreneurial spirit. It does not matter if you are a leader in the field or an accountant in our Finance Department, we are all Great Adventure People who find passion in showing people the world.
Our Sailing season is up and coming fast! With positions available in Greece we now invite people to apply. Do not apply without reading further.
We are not looking for just a Skipper, we are looking for fun, dynamic, energetic, creative, innovative, individuals who think outside of the box, and embrace the bizarre! Who are also able to discover and explore, possible new adventures for our guests. That's right, just because you have more sea miles, the top qualifications, and whatever references you think you may have, stop right there. Because, apart from needing a minimum of Yacht Master Practical, we are looking for individuals. People who can change peoples lives, by leading them into unchartered waters, who are willing to explore, and who are at their happiest while around a broad range of adventure travellers, who may have never set foot from land before! If you can't at least do this simple task, then this position isn't for you. This is not flotilla sailing with a charter company. This is far more adventurous than that. Instead of sailing around in mass no?s, you will be in charge of your own destiny.
You will master a 50ft monohull sailing yacht, with up to eight adventure travellers from all over the world. You will be responsible for their well being, while ensuring the trip of a lifetime was had by all. Our sailing program is carefully monitored by your Manager, and we have a passenger satisfaction rate that is unrivalled in the industry. So the pressure will be on you to maintain the high standard that we are used to delivering. A good pay package is on offer along with bonus & travel allowance.
