Social Media/ Video Specialist

We create better outdoor living spaces for our customers in Washington and Oregon with a high focus on fun customer experience. Imagine a contractor experience that doesn’t suck, provided by a team of capable, laid-back people. We have a strong family like culture, and we have a lively office. We don't like having to "walk on eggshells" in the office, so if you get offended easily and can't take a joke.. This may not be the best environment for you.

We’re a fast-growing company with big plans for the future. We’re looking for someone that has a creative streak and can own our social media growth and turn our brand into a powerhouse online. We have a decent amount of followers on Instagram, Youtube and Facebook already but have a hard time staying up on the content. The concept "They ask, you answer" from marketing expert Marcus Sheridan is what we are wanting you to OWN the roll out of. 

The Role:
We’re looking for a sharp, self-motivated, problem-solving creator to come on board and lead social media growth. (This is an IN PERSON role and not a position you could work remotely with)

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

-Identify questions and content that our future customers would want to see, and create videos and blogs around that.
-Filming onsite in all weather conditions. (it gets really wet and cold in the winter, and hot in the summer)
-Editing and creating content for Youtube, Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, Tiktok, etc.
-Commenting, messaging, and engaging with people on the different platforms

Bonus duties for this position:

-Publication of new pieces of content on our website. Helpful articles etc.
-Company email marketing efforts, including newsletters and automated workflows.
-Ownership of all analytics and reporting for content marketing efforts.
-Search engine optimization (SEO) efforts for website and content. 
-Premium content production, including ebooks, white papers, webinars, etc.
-Creating landing pages and conversion opportunities for lead generation.
-General website updates and enhancements, e.g., new pages and calls-to-action placement.
-Professional development and continued education in relevant areas (e.g., HubSpot certifications).

How success will be measured:

-Social media followers
-Revenue generated from social media
-Amount of beneficial content produced
