Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

As a Test Lead (Lead Validation Engineer) of Product Validation (PV) team, you should have the ability to coordinate with subject matter experts, product development, storage partner technical support personnel and Lenovo product support.

To fulfill Jabil business development, we expect you are a creative, self-motivated, team-oriented, and technology savvy one. In this role, you must have solid domain knowledge to develop test method with industry trend, host training/sharing of leading-edge technology for teams, and support test execution to meet Jabil's business goal with customer requirements, technology advances, product quality, product cost, and time-to-market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in assigned project activities from sizing, planning, validation plan development/implementation, test execution, defect resolution, and results documentation.
• Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other function team members involved in the projects.
• Work cooperatively with an international team.
• Understand and contribute to documenting Product Validation procedures associated with assigned projects including but not limited to system configuration, system operational procedures, data conversion, testing, and hardware environment requirements
• Ensures Product Validation of solution uses the current code levels, progress is up to date in on-line tracking tool, defect documentation accurately describes the problem with steps to recreate, and verification of defect fixes is timely.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ year experience working as a Test Lead, Test Engineer or a SW QA Engineer in server industry.
• Familiar with server operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and ESXi environments.
• Scripting skill using some or all of these: Windows batch, power shell, VB, Linux shell script, bash.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• 15+ year experience working as a software Test Engineer or SW QA Engineer in server industry.
• Experience of Windows & Linux OS configuration, installation procedure, network configuration, driver configuration, etc.
• Experience with automation test and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Selenium, and Visual Studio.
• Excellent understanding on design verification test development. Can coordinate design and validation teams across Taiwan, China, and USA to develop test solution and process.

• Must be able and willing to share knowledge with all the team members. A character of team player is must.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
