About The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Driver Marketing team. This role will play a key role in growing and shaping Grubhub's Driver Marketing function, identifying and executing on highest areas of leverage to support the service, profitability and growth goals of the business.
Serving as both a team lead and individual contributor, you will be responsible for leading channel owners to develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy supporting the entire Driver lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep background in digital acquisition and retention marketing, strong analytical and business acumen, and a desire to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
The Impact You Will Make

  • Build, execute and lead the Driver marketing strategy from acquisition through to activation, engagement and retention in alignment with the service, profitability and growth goals of the business
  • Lead, inspire and develop a team of A-players while also spearheading your own individual projects, working to establish goals, execute with excellence and create accountability for results
  • Serve as a key marketing point of contact with Logistics leadership, collaborating closely on shared objectives
  • Collaborate with management to set and hit aggressive targets and forecast the budget needed to achieve them
  • Conduct rigorous ongoing analysis of campaign performance & team progress to goals, reporting out results weekly / monthly / quarterly
  • Oversee the driver acquisition strategy (paid media & SEO) to hit dynamic market-level sourcing goals, aggressively optimizing for both cost (CPMQL) and targeting precision
  • Oversee holistic Driver communication strategy (email, push, in-product), using data to identify the highest leverage opportunities to improve engagement, retention and performance
  • Develop go to market plans for Driver product and feature releases, closely aligning with Logistics, Product, UX, Research, and Care stakeholders.
  • Apply insights from VoC data, driver behavior and surveys to continually test and refine your approach.
  • Partner with cross-departmental SMEs-web development, analytics, data science, product development, brand, creative, paid social, SEM, agencies, vendors and more-to ensure development and delivery of campaigns across the driver lifecycle
  • Demonstrate a strong bias for action by identifying problems/opportunities and working proactively to solve them, as well as manage complex timelines and dependencies.
  • Maintain a strong analytical background with a bias for developing data-driven solutions working with data tools such as Tableau and Google Analytics as needed
  • Foster a learning culture, focused on high-performance, agility, and creativity within the team


What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8-10 years experience in a cross functional strategic and executional role preferably in the digital marketing and/or client-side B2B space
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team and direct reports
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, economics, statistics or other related field
  • Deep working knowledge of full-funnel digital advertising (paid media, SEO etc) and hands-on execution experience of marketing campaign tools (i.e. Braze, Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • A proven track record executing test and learn strategies and accurately reporting results
  • Ability to flex between "in the weeds" channel knowledge and driving high-level vision and team goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to campaign plans, influence others and build relationships
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with data driven approach
  • Positive attitude and the ability to operate in a very fast-paced environment with ambiguity

NY Salary Range: $132k-198k
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.
