Your Role

Join Aptiv's Advanced Safety & User Experience team as a Systems Engineering Intern, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking technologies that are shaping the future of automotive safety and user interaction. As a key member of this team, you'll work on projects that enhance driver safety, improve the user experience, and innovate vehicle interaction systems.

What You'll Do:

• Technical requirements definition in collaboration with customer and coordination of their implementation with other teams such as software engineers, hardware engineers, testers and validation engineers.
• Camera based interior sensing data collection for testing, debugging and algorithm testing and tuning.
• Complete vehicle and/or bench testing per defined test plans
• Accurately document test results and test issues
• Reprogram engineer samples with updated software

What You'll Need:

• Pursuing a bachelors or master's degree in Engineering with 3.0 or higher GPA
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with & develop Python scripts
• Strong Technical & Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to operate a vehicle (active driver's license)
