Telecom Tester

Infosys is seeking Telecom Tester- In this role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of experience Information Technology

Minimum Requirements:
• Telecom Domain Knowledge
• Test Plan creation & test execution
• Test bed configuration, buildout and maintenance
• Networking TCP/IP layer knowledge
• Networking Protocol Experience like SNMP, IP addressing, TCP/UDP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP etc.
• Web technology experience like Web applications, web services and protocols
• CPE experience i.e, Cable Modem/Router, Set top box Testing Experience
• SDLC knowledge
• Manual/Automation Functional & Regression Testing Experience
• Security penetration testing to simulate real time attacks to determine vulnerabilities, risks and threats on CPE devices
• Conduct security audit, analysis of CPE broadband, video and voice network architecture, software stack
• Security trends, cyber security experience
• Experience in tools like HP ALM, Octane, JIRA, Confluence
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to debug & Triage/troubleshooting customer reported issues
• Agile and DevOps knowledge is advantage

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
