Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to gather insights into user behaviours, needs, and pain points for both mobile and web applications.
- Analyse user data from various sources (e.g. analytics, user feedback, usability testing) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to guide design and development processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure user-centric design and functionality.
- Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visualize design concepts for both mobile and web applications.
- Develop and maintain detailed research findings, UI/UX specifications and guidelines.
- Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests to gather user feedback and validate design. decisions Conduct A/B testing to compare different design solutions and determine the most effective approach.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive product improvements.
- Ensure that all design elements and interactions are consistent with the overall product vision and brand guidelines.
- Monitor and measure the success of UI/UX improvements through user satisfaction and product performance metrics.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, analysis or similar role, with a focus on both mobile and web applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience with data analysis and UX research methods, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Ability to analyze and interpret user data to inform design decisions.
- Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation methods.
- Familiarity with insurance and automotive industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with Webflow is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NN/g UX Certification) are a plus.
