Your Role and Responsibilities
Join IBM’s worldwide Software Product Design and UXR organization where our mission is to empower users to do their best work through intuitive and visually engaging interfaces. As a UX Researcher/ UX Research Intern you’ll play a crucial role in uncovering insights informing design decisions and forging new opportunities to improve business outcomes through the rigorous study of people and the ecosystems in which they exist.

Responsibilities :

• Identifying and communicating appropriate research methodologies to address research opportunity
• Recruiting appropriate participants for research plans and goals
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies such as interviews surveys competitive analyses prioritization exercises concept testing contextual inquiry and user journey mapping to gather insights about user behaviors needs and preferences.
• Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights
• Delivering compelling stories to communicate actionable insights for team and stakeholders
• Continuously building team understanding and empathy through empirical observation experience and making.
• Identifying and communicating high priority questions and opportunities for research to lead team towards strategic opportunities and tactical improvements [only applicable for ELH role]
• This position requires working onsite 3 days per week at our Mulhuddart location in Dublin
